Mother's Day Weekend...

For Mother's Day weekend we spent a few days at
Phoenix on the Bay Resort in Orange Beach, AL.
We have stayed at this resort before and really
enjoy it...the water area is so fun with a water slide (that
adults can enjoy too) and a lazy river! This was
Caleb's first time and he had a blast. My parents came
and spent the weekend with us in the condo.

View from our condo balcony

Our family

Grandma Maria and Caleb swimming in
the lazy river

This cute little girl let Caleb borrow her pink tube...
he had a good time - despite it being pink : )

We all had a little fun on the water slide...

Grandpa Dave

Grandma Maria

Aunt Melly

Silly Daddy

Caleb did NOT enjoy the slide as much
as the rest of us...he loved it the first time
and decided on the way down the 2nd time he
didn't like it. Hence the scared face, poor baby!

All that playing just tired Caleb out...we let him
rest while I tanned on the lazy river : )

Dinner with the fam

Grandpa made a fun fort for Caleb...he's
hiding inside!

And...Caleb wrecked the fort and decided it was
more fun to throw himself into the pile of
pillows and blankets repeatedly

Grandpa Dave and Caleb, what a ham
(both of them)!

This may have been Caleb's favorite part
of the whole weekend...having a bag of veggie straw
chips all to himself. He is crazy about these chips...
and since they have "veggie" in the title that makes
me feel a little better about allowing him to eat the
whole bag : )

It was a great weekend! Caleb ended up getting a fever
the last night we were there...way to make me
work hard on Mother's Day Eve! : ) Justin went to
Walmart at 2 AM to get more Tylenol. Caleb felt better in the
morning and we enjoyed our last day at the pool.
I'd say it was a wonderful Mother's Day!

Wonderful pics and they bring back such fun memories. Phoenix on the Bay will probably never be the same now after the oil mess. I especially love the picture of Caleb and me. His smile is so cute!
