Our Sweet Babies...

We have been home (in Pensacola) for one week
now.  It started off busy...all our Christmas decorations
were still up!  Monday was spent doing a lot of
cleaning and organizing.  I didn't realize how much
we had taken to Birmingham and it took me
forever to put stuff away - 6 weeks is
a long time to live out of suitcases!

Caleb is still so in love with Audrey :)
He is constantly saying "pick Au-rey"
and wanting to hold her.  The pictures above
were taken while Caleb was watching the
movie Cars and wanted to snuggle his sister.
He is really great with her...there's only been
one poke in the eye so far...I think we are doing
pretty good!

The NICU was really nice and had Audrey on a
4 hour eating schedule...so we are getting a little
more sleep at night than when we brought Caleb home.
Feedings are still a small battle - she is learning to nurse
and does well when she's not lazy.  There is not a lot
of time during the day when her eyes are open, so,
learning to nurse is a challenge.  She has fewer choking
episodes while sucking the bottle now, but still needs
to be reminded to breathe while eating.  We are so
happy to have her home and she has been a
wonderful addition to our family!

OH MY GOODNESS! We just returned from Jonathan & April's yesterday and I am still jet lagged! I mis spelled about five words when I tried this the first time! HA! HA! So, anyway, congratulations that you are all home together again! I know you are thankful you had your parents for 24 hr Caleb care while precious little Audrey grew a little stronger though. She is absolutely beautiful! We think of you often. Miss you, love Ginger
