A New Year...

The first week of the new year
was an eventful one.  Audrey started
gaining weight quickly and began
to take her feedings without much
trouble.  They had to switch her to
a partially digested (broken down)
formula to help prime her gut.  It made
me sad to have my baby take
formula when I am making
so much milk...but I understand the
benefits to the temporary switch.

 Caleb's carseat was moved
to forward facing on New Year's
Day - after much begging from
my dad :)  Now Caleb has
discovered the DVD player in
the car and loves to watch Cars -
his favorite movie.

Audrey needed a blood transfusion the first
week in January...we were so happy to
find out that Justin's blood was compatible!

 Justin donating blood
 Audrey getting Daddy's blood
She slept through most of the transfusion
I was able to be there for the beginning
of her transfusion.  This is the next day...
looking so healthy!  Daddy's blood treated
her well and it was a successful transfusion
with a very good increase in her blood
count.

What a beautiful gift. I'm sure that made him feel so good to be able to do that for her.
